Summary

In this chapter you have learned how you can take advantage of the Web, without even leaving Access. Many Web-centric features with which you may already be familiar are also implemented in Access. For instance, you can use hyperlinks to jump from one location to another. In this chapter you have learned the following:

The World Wide Web is just a portion of the Internet, second only in popularity to e-mail.
Access allows the insertion of active hyperlinks in a table field.
Once hyperlinks are in place, you can easily edit or delete them.
Hyperlinks are activated in Access in the same way they are activated in a Web browser.
You can use Access to generate Web pages in three different ways: static HTML, server-generated HTML, and data access pages.
You can participate in a NetMeeting while you are using Access.
